The Avro Lancaster was a British strategic heavy bomber aircraft that was used as the RAF's principal heavy bomber during World War II. It's 4 Merlin engines and unobstructed 33-foot long bomb bay gave it the capacity to carry the largest payload of any bomber in the war.
